Cairns has a tropical climate and the summer lasts from December – April, whereas the winter lasts from May – November.
During Summer, temperatures sir at around 28-32 degrees, and will fall to approx. 15-26 degrees during Winter.
There is minimal rain during the dry season, and even during the wet season, it doesn’t usually rain the whole day.
In most cases, a rainy forecast doesn’t mean too much rain so don’t be too worried!
Although the temperature doesn’t fall too low in Cairns, make sure you bring a jumper to tours during the winter season as it can get quite chilly, especially during the morning and evenings!
When a tour is cancelled due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the tour operator will contact us, or the customers directly.
