You will first have the opportunity to experience a fascinating journey above the rainforest canopy aboard with Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Enjoy a truly unique perspective of this ancient landscape; glide metres above the pristine jungle canopy before descending to explore the rainforest close up.
Upon arriving in Kuranda, you will have a 4 hours of free time to enjoy the unique atmosphere and an array specialty market stalls & hidden cafes.
Kuranda has a fun and festive atmosphere, became popular with the hippie crowd in the 1960s and ’70s. They have left an artistic and musical legacy that can still be enjoyed today. Look out for the amazing street art and talented buskers performing on street corners!
After enjoying Kuranda, you will board the Kuranda Scenic Rail to begin the 2 hour trip back to Cairns.

We had originally booked this tour through Expedia online which gave us the total run around. We contacted Jay at Drtours and he managed to help us get our money back from a total mess up with Expedia and even book us on the rail & sky train one day before New Year’s Day when these should have been fully booked!
